Kyra Minturn

 KyraMinturn Sedgwick, born 19th August, 1965 is an American actress. She is best known for her part as the Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick was awarded an Emmy Award in 2010 and a Golden Globe Award for 2007 for her performance as Johnson. Following the seventh season, Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe Award in 2007 and an Emmy Award in the year 2010. The show ended on August 13, 2012. Sedgwick is also famous for her role in the show in the role of Madeline Wuntch, on the sitcom Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Sedgwick was awarded a Golden Globe nomination for her performance as Madeline Wuntch in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) as well as Cameron Crowe's Ones (1992), Heart and Souls-1993), Phenomenon (1996) and What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003). The Game Plan (2007) and The Possession (2013). Sedgwick is the daughter Patricia Rosenwald who is an educator therapy for families, a venture capitalist, as well as Henry Dwight Sedgwick VII, a speech therapist. Her mother was Jewish and her father was Episcopalian as well as of English origin. Sedgwick says she is Jewish and says she goes to Passover seders.
