Jennifer Rene Psaki
Jennifer Rene Psaki was an American political advisor who served as the 34th White House press Secretary between 2021 until 2022. A member of the Democratic Party, Psaki was previously the White House deputy secretary (2009), White House deputy communication director (2009-2011), spokesperson for United States Department of State 2013-2015 as well as the White House communications Director (2015-2017). Psaki worked as an CNN political contributor from 2017 and 2020. Psaki started her career in 2001 when she worked on the re-election campaigns of Iowa Democrats Tom Harkin for the U.S. Senate and Tom Vilsack for governor. Psaki was later appointed as the press secretary's assistant in John Kerry's campaign for president in 2004. Psaki was in office from 2005 until 2006 as communications director to Joseph Crowley, U.S. representative, as well as the regional press secretary for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee. In 2012, Psaki returned to political communications, serving as press secretary to the Obama reelection campaign in 2012. [20] Psaki resigned as spokesperson for United States Department of State on February 11, 2013. She was hired at the Department of State to fill the White House Press Secretary Jay Carney's position.[21However, Josh Earnest took his place on May 30,2014. She returned to White House in 2015 to become the communications director. She was a part of the Obama administration until the end of its term.
